Why did I write Health BEAMS? It’s simple: I believe that everyone deserves to live a life filled with longevity, vitality, and happiness. In today’s world, it’s easy to get caught up in the noise of fleeting health trends. I wanted to create something that cuts through that noise—a personal compass guiding you toward a life of sustainable health and balance.

For me, this voyage towards wellness took on a profound urgency when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This pivotal moment was a wake-up call, compelling me to seek answers and holistic prevention strategies. It was the catalyst that propelled me on a quest to discover the true essence of health and vitality. As I navigated through the labyrinth of wellness approaches, I embarked on a relentless search to uncover the essence of true health.

My exploration took me through a diverse range of paths—from delving into various diets and foods to scrutinizing toxins, stress reduction techniques, the significance of exercise, and the importance of nurturing relationships. I immersed myself in research, drawing insights from groundbreaking studies on communities renowned for their longevity, particularly those in the Blue Zones.

Inspired by these discoveries, I synthesized my findings into the foundational principles of the BEAMS method. This wholistic approach encapsulates the essence of leading a vibrant and balanced life, drawing from the wisdom of cultures and communities that have mastered the art of longevity and vitality. Each element of the BEAMS method—Balanced Nutrition, Enjoyable Exercise, Aloha Friends, Mindful Living, and Sustainable Environment—is carefully crafted to provide a roadmap for optimizing health and unlocking your full potential for well-being.
